Description: This outfitter can provide you with an exceptional, natural wilderness elk hunt. Besides having an 80 - 90% opportunity for 6 point bulls, you will also see a great variety of other wildlife species. Hunting elk is best during the month of September which is also their rutting season.
Elk hunts are 10-12 days long and conducted as either one on one or two on one fully guided hunts. Hunts include trophy fees for both black bear and wolf. There are additional opportunities to add moos or caribou on a trophy fee basis
Multi species hunts are one this outfitter’s specialties. They offers a true "mixed bag" hunting opportunity. Many of their hunters harvest 2 or more trophies on a trip with us. In late August and most of the September hunts there is a real chance of taking up to 3 or more trophies. Most of the mixed bag hunters will take 2 animals. Extra days can be added to your hunting experience.
Hunts are conducted in a 5000 square mile area.
Accommodations: Set in the scenic Toad River Valley, base camp accommodations are one of a kind. The 8500 square foot lodge sits on a 500 acre ranch nestled within the outfitters’ 5000 square mile hunting area. While at the lodge you’ll enjoy all of the amenities of home including home cooked meals, big screen tv, billiards and an available hot tub.
Transportation/Getting there: Hunts can choose to drive or fly to camp. Those who travel by air will fly to Fort Nelson, BC via Central Mountain Air or Swanberg Air. You will be greeted in Fort Nelson by a representative from the outfit and driven to the lodge.
