Description: It is tough to find better mule deer hunting than what is offered at this destination. Operating on leases comprising over 250,000 acres, including over two dozen ranches, which are strictly managed for quality bucks and high game numbers.
This destination has been focused on quality deer management for years, and has consistently improved the age and trophy quality of harvested game. There are lots of deer on the leases and trophy quality is outstanding. Harvest success rates are very high, and opportunity for success has always been 100 percent.
Our goal is to target mule deer at 6- to 8-years of age. Harvested mulies generally average in the mid-150s to mid-170s with 24- to 28-inch spreads average. The areas hunted produce deep forks and decent mass. Most mature bucks have an extra point or two.
Bucks over 200 inches have been taken in the past with 180s taken most years. On a standard hunt, every client should see mule deer bucks in the 150- to 180-class range.
