Description: This five star log lodge offering incredible hunting opportunities for trophy class bear in northern Québec. During your flight into this exclusive rights territory you’ll begin to realize the vastness of the area offered to a select few for a hunting opportunity of a lifetime. With over 75,000 acres of pristine property, this newly opened lodge will certainly provide a hunter his best opportunity for a trophy.
Packages include bear hunting and fishing. The guides will transport you to and from the baited stands and retrieve the bear. They will also skin and freeze the hide and complete the registration for transport home.
The hunting is done over baited tree stands and ground blinds offering the hunter shots of 15 to 35 yards. With the high concentration of bears in the area, success for either rifle or bow hunters is high. Imagine it, fishing in the morning and hunting in the afternoon.
Accommodations: Roughing it in luxury is truly what this outfitter is all about. With its five star rating you can rest assured that your comfort is a top priority. With a maximum capacity of 14 sportsmen you will certainly feel like it's your own personal resort. Bear hunting is limited to a handful of hunters annually.
The rustic log lodge offers other amenities such as a game room, poker table, pool table, bar, 24 hr. snack bar, tackle shop and a real favorite, the open bar with beer on tap and house wines. A great room with the stone fireplace and leather sofas and chairs provide a comfortable place to relax after a long day. The lower level game room is also used as a private conference room.
Transportation/Getting there: Getting to the lodge by the de Havilland "Beaver" floatplane from one of our pickup points is a highlight that many look forward to each year. We offer this service from our main base at Berthelot Lake located 68 miles gravel road north east of Senneterre Quebec. Obaska on route #113 south of Senneterre is another.
