Description: This lodge is an elegant 19th century mansion which rests on one of the most beautiful estancias in the country. After an intensive restoration process this hundred- year old mansion has been returned to it’s original splendor, and updated with the modern comforts. Six grand bedrooms will accommodate up to 6 hunters in comfortable king size beds.
The hunting in the area is similar to that offered at San Juan Lodge, which is only 30 minutes away. There are fertile fields in abundance with good pastures to hunt perdiz with our great dogs; wide plots dedicated to agriculture for growing sunflowers, sorghum, soy, corn and wheat providing an infinite amount of food for the doves. In the area there are a large number of reservoirs and ponds, where, together with the abundance of food in the area, produce enormous concentrations of ducks, of all kinds of species.
Perdiz hunting runs May 1st to July 31st
Duck hunting runs from May 1st to September 15th
Pigeons generally run from May 1st to September 15th
Dove Shooting is all year round
Duck Main Species: Rosy-Billed Pochard, White-Faced Whistling Duck, Brazilian Teal, Brown Pintail, Speckled Teal, Ringed Teal, Southern Wigeon, Cinnamon Teal, and Silver Teal.
Accommodations: The lodge will accommodate up to eight guests, and offers 6 bedrooms each with bath & replace. With plenty of space to spread out in great style, this estancia offers a comfortable living room with its inviting fireplace centerpiece, Italian-mayorca floors. A dining room boasting exquisite meals, fine wines and a majestic view. On pleasant evenings or before the next hunt the Lodge offers an open-air galleria so guests may enjoy the fresh air and Uruguayan countryside at any time.
Transportation/Getting there: The lodge is located in the region of Rio Negro is one of the country‘s richest agricultural and livestock areas. 310 km of Montevideo on a main route. Near the city of Young, a city that is the center of the agricultural industry of the
Guests of the lodge have multiple means of arrival/departure from the lodge based on their point of origin or final destination. Most commonly, shooters traveling on international flights to Uruguay and Montevideo International Airport will be met by a lodge representative who will assist with gun clearance, if necessary, and who will transport the group to the lodge. The drive is approximately 3 hours through scenic rural Uruguay via paved highway.

Guests arriving into Montevideo may choose to expedite their travels by chartering to the Paysandú airport (40 minutes flight) located approximately 35 minutes from the lodge.
Private Charters from Buenos Aires: Charter options are also available directly to Uruguay from Buenos Aires for those guests arriving from an Argentine lodge, who have been enjoying the city or who have arrived into Buenos Aires internationally.

Note: Clients have the possibility to hunt Perdiz or Ducks in the afternoon for a $ 250 surcharge per person per hunt. We require a minimum of 2 hunters willing to take this option to apply this price per person.
