Southeastern Kansas Ducks | Option #1

Description:  Kansas offers some of the most breathtaking duck hunting in the Midwest. The hunting grounds touch a wonderful array of flooded agricultural fields, as well as some of the premier flooded timber in the Central Flyway.

Through extensive property management, this destination is able to offer duck hunting in diverse settings. Whether it’s a green timber hole, pit blinds in flooded grain fields, or big river boat blind hunting they do their utmost to keep you under the birds with a warm barrel.

They have a large property that sits adjacent to Neosho wildlife management area. This region winters large numbers of ducks and geese, which makes our adjacent property the place to be. The property is the famous Carters Island, where the Neosho river splits to create the largest land locked island in the lower 48.

The lodge is in close proximity to the establishment's hunting grounds, making morning rides to the blind quick and easy, and afternoon tours a great option. As the birds return to the fields near the lodge each evening, guests are encouraged to go watch the beautiful spectacle! For cool nights on the spacious back patio, a warm and inviting fire pit will be kept loaded and roaring on a nightly basis.

Accommodations:  Located outside of St. Paul in the southeast region of the state, the rustic lodge sleeps 16 hunters, featuring 8 bedrooms, each containing 2 beds and a full bathroom. The entire lodge is adorned with beautiful, custom woodworked furniture and an aromatic, rough-cut blood cedar finishing throughout. The large great room boasts of a fireplace, luxurious living area for relaxing, vaulted ceilings and expansive windows to enjoy the view. This central room also contains a cozy custom bar and cocktail area for hunters after a day afield. Overlooking the great room, the Habitat Flats: Central Prairie Lodges Pro Shop serves as a mezzanine and also contains high windows overlooking the lodge landscape.

Hunters young and old alike will find many fun times in the lodge's Rec Room, a special addition to the Kansas facility that was designed with the hunter in mind. This large area connected to the Lodge contains lockers for each guest, and most notably, a casual living room space to kick up one's feet and have a cold drink in your waders while watching sports or hunting classics on the big screen!
