Wingshooting

Saskatchewan High Volume Wingshooting | Ducks, Cranes, Geese, & Snows

Description:  Waterfowl hunting in Saskatchewan takes place in the grain belt of the Prairie Pothole Region in the eastern part of the province. Here this outfitter has access to millions of acres that hold an abundance of Ducks, Canada Geese, Snow Geese, and Sandhill Cranes. With liberal limits, this is high volume wingshooting at its finest. When limits of ducks and Canada geese are taken in the morning hunt, hunters have the option to add on hunts for decoying Snow Geese or Sandhill Cranes in the afternoon!

Saskatchewan is an amazing place for a waterfowl hunter. Not only can you experience world-class waterfowl hunting, but the wide open spaces and abundance of game will take your breath away.

The season opens in early September and they hunt straight through November 10th. This is 60 days of relentless scouting, preparation and execution that ensures their hunters the best experience possible. They have multiple guides that share this passion and perform at an elite level to bring you the trip of a lifetime.

Accommodations:  The 11,000 square foot lodge boasts of a large open great room, kitchen and has a fitness room as well. There are two queen beds per bedroom with private bathroom.

Transportation/Getting there:  Hunters will fly to Regina International Airport, where they will rent a vehicle for transportation to the lodge. The lodge is a short 2.5 hour drive away from the airport. Passports and Canadian Firearms Transfer Permits are required.

Recommended Gear:

-Shotgun with a plug.  Firearms available to use upon request (must be at the time of booking).

-Ammunition is provided by the outfitter.

-All applicable provincial licenses and federal game bird stamps are provided by the outfitter.

-Bird cleaning is included in our all inclusive package. Birds are vacuum sealed and frozen prior to your departure. All birds harvested by a client must be taken with that client at the time of their departure. Each hunter will use on average two 48 quart coolers to transport their birds.

-layered clothing, bibs, insulated boots, gloves.

-Blind bag, camera, and any other personal items that you wish to have.

Rates:  3 day, 3 night - $3500 per person

NOTE: Hunts include AM Hunt for Canada Geese & Ducks. Option to include Snow Geese and Cranes in the PM. Call for details.

Dates:  early September through early November. 60 day season

Included:  all meals and lodging, service of professional guides, hunting licenses, ammunition, and bird processing.

Not Included:  transportation to/from Regina Airport, Canadian gun transfers, taxidermy, and tips/gratuities

Approximate license cost:  Included in the cost of the hunt
