Description: Mexico is a waterfowler’s dream! This location boasts liberal limits and lots of access to prime hunting ground. The lodge is situated between 2 lakes on approximately 200,000 acres of wheat, barley, oat and cornfields, along with several smaller nearby ponds. These fields act as a magnet to concentrations of waterfowl wintering and feeding in this valley.
The season begins in November and runs through the end of February. Most of our goose hunting is in dry fields, recommending grassy type camo. however, some shooting takes place in marsh type ponds, close to the reservoirs, so waders are also recommended.
Accommodations: Accommodations are similar to hotel type rooms, consisting of 2 full size beds per room, with a private bathroom. The lodge has a huge dining area where you will be served authentic Mexican meals. Adjacent to the dining room is a fully stocked bar, complete with a bartender to prepare for you the drink of your choice or better yet, just ask for a margarita.
Clean towels, sheets and blankets are provided, however we suggest packing your own personal items.
Transportation/Getting there: Fly to Chihuahua City Airport, Mexico where you will be greeted by ranch staff and taken to the lodge (approximately 2 hour drive
