Description: Located in the heart of SE Alaska coastal inside passage, Admiralty Island maintains the most brown bears per square mile of anywhere in the world. A successful hunt is based on opportunity, and more bears equals more opportunity. This outfitter will work hard to find only the best trophies for their clients, with most bears averaging in the 8’6” to 9’6” range.
Not only will they work to give you an opportunity to harvest a trophy brown bear, but all hunts are sold as an adventure. You will be immersed in the natural beauty and awe of SE Alaska’s stunning scenery. It is not uncommon to see whales, eagles, seals, sea lions and a host of other animals. All trips include fishing if available, and they due their best to provide fresh Alaska crab and shrimp harvested during your trip.
Brown Bears can be hunted in the Spring or Fall.

Two Vessels:
70 foot Yacht: There are four private staterooms with in suite bath and shower. Full galley with chef, top notch electronics, satellite phone, and washer and dryer.
65 Foot Trawler: There are two private guest rooms each with king bed or can be separated into two singles (can accommodate up to 4). Full galley with chef.
Transportation/Getting there: Guests fly to Juneau or Wrangell Alaska commercial. We recommend an overnight stay before your hunt begins. Most hunts require air charter to the boat, but some do not. Contact us for details.

Dates: May & August-September. Fall and spring hunts available
Included: meals and lodging, 1x1 guiding, trophy prep of game taken, fishing (if available and time permits)
Not Included: airfare to Alaska, air charter to vessel (average cost $400-$600 per client), lodging and meals in town before or after hunts, taxidermy and shipping of meat and game, meat processing, and hunting licenses and tags.
Approximate licenses cost: hunting license - $85, brown bear tag - $500, $black bear tag - $215, UFSF Land use fee $200-$300, fishing license - $60, & wolf tag - $35
